In hour one of After Further Review, Matt talks the news of the Saints working out a couple defensive backs. This comes after injuries to Patrick Robinson and Eli Apple vs. the Bears. The names should be familiar to Saints fans. Kayvon Webster and Captain Munnerlyn are the players who received workouts. Webster was with the Black and Gold during camp, and Munnerlyn spent plenty of time in the NFC South.
Every year USA Today publishes the head coaches salaries in college football. Dabo Swinney is the highest paid at $9.3 million per year. Coach O ranks 30th at $4 million annually.

The Athletic’s Larry Holder joins Matt in his weekly spot to talk the latest with the New Orleans Saints. The word around the team is that quarterback, Drew Brees is looking to return this week against the Cardinals. Holder gives us his feel on the situation.
“I’m walking into this week with the assumption that he will,” Holder said.
Another injury to keep an eye on is the knee of cornerback, Eli Apple. Holder fills us in on the latest.
“Well it sounded like after the game that it was a hyperextension,” Holder said. “That’s the best news that could come out of that.”
Matt talks the latest in the injury and recovery with Zion Williamson. The Pelicans open the regular season tonight in Toronto.
