Matt has a ‘grab bag’ of Saints topics in segment two. He begins with a quick recap of the first preseason game vs. the Vikings. Who stood out for the right and wrong reasons.

“One guy who stood out for the wrong reason was Ken Crowley,” Matt said. ” Crowley was a starter for you last year and didn’t get in until the fourth quarter.”

Saints wide receiver, Rishard Matthews retired from football. He left the team on his own over the weekend, and today announces his retirement in an Instagram post.

Nick Saban wants 10 power five games on the schedule. Not only does Saban want this he says this is a model that Alabama is working towards. Saban sites a better experience for the fans, and a tougher schedule to help your playoff resume.

“I applaude Nick Saban,” Matt said. “Nick is right about this.”
