Attorney, Daniel Lust, stopped by to discuss Kevin Durant’s potential $1 billion lawsuit against Golden State Warriors.
If this wasn’t a billion dollar lawsuit, Lust doesn’t think people would care about this. This is because most athletes who get these kind of injuries usually don’t come back as good as they were before.
“It chops years off of players years,” said Lust. Mathematically, he explains why it makes since the lawsuit would be worth $1 billion. The injury came during a non-basketball move. If Durant was rushed back by the Warriors medical staff, he would have a strong case.
How does Durant signing with the Nets effect this lawsuit? Lust finds it interesting that Durant didn’t sign a 4-year max deal with the Nets.
