Hour 2 | The New Orleans Pelicans release their schedule and will be televised a franchise-high 30 times

Weekdays 7AM - 9AM

Jordy and T-Bob continued to discussed the release of the New Orlean Pelicans schedule in hour 2 of Off the Bench.

It’s incredible how many Pelicans NBA games will be nationally televised, with 30 franchise-high appearances. This season, we’ll find out whether Brandon Ingram is worth keeping around and whether the Pelicans can become one of the most consistent teams in the league?

Jordy told everyone why he liked the Tate Martell story so much, which he felt guilty about. For those who don’t know, Martell transferred from Ohio State to Miami. Recently, when he lost the starting QB job at Miami, he didn’t show up for practice. This is just more ammo for those who oppose the transfer portal.

The whole Off the Bench crew answered Mailbag questions, including: would you rather two more years of Skip Bertman or two more years of Nick Saban?

Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated joined Jordy and T-Bob to discuss college football.

Dellenger talked about his newest article on Trevor Lawerence and college football, including how he thinks LSU’s signal caller Joe Burrow stacks up next to the Clemson QB. Furthermore, he thinks Burrow is definitely a top 15-20 quarterback.

“I think he’s up there, he certainly proved that he’s not just one of those game manager type of quarterbacks,” Dellenger said. “He’s a little bit more.”

They also talked about the best Catholic High School football team that never won a title, the 1997 Bears.
