Tiger Rag Editor, James Moran joins Matt to start hour three with a report from LSU fall camp. James says that Grant Delpit and Kristian Fulton are still out, as well as, Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
“I think we are still a couple weeks away before we start getting nervous about this,” Moran said.
The wide recievers will be a huge key to LSU’s success or failure this season. A little more than a week into camp Moran gives a glimspe into their progression.
“I think there is a pretty clear separation in the top three, being Jefferson, Chase and Marshall,” Moran said.
Moran points to freshmen, Trey Palmer and Devonta Lee as others who are drawing eyes. Dee Anderson has been missing from practice since the start due to a suspension for a conditioning injury per Coach O. Moran says he has no update on his situation, but says there could be more to the story.
“I believe that he is out of shape, but I’m not sure it’s the 100% reason he’s not out there,” Moran said.
Phil Steele ranks LSU’s secondary as the best in college football for 2019. Who is one player to watch maybe flying under the radar?
“I think the obvious one would be Todd Harris,” Moran said.
Moran says Harris has been getting Delpit’s reps while the junior is sidelined. Moran also points to Jacoby Stevens and Eric Monroe.
