Missouri Football fall preview with TJ Moe

Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

Former Mizzou WR, now of 590 The Fan, TJ Moe joins Matt to preview the upcoming season for the Missouri Tigers. Right out of the gate Moe confirms that the quarterback job is Kelly Bryant’s.

“I’m not sure there are any other quarterbacks on the roster,” Moe said.

Matt asks about former LSU QB, Lindsey Scott Jr. who is on the Mizzou roster as an option to see any playing time. Moe quickly shoots this down, stating that Scott is not even the backup.

“Ultimately, for the offense to be successful they need tight end Albert Okwuegbunam has to be healthy,” Moe said. “He is one of the top TEs in the nation.”

Moe says the offense is the key to the season being successful. The Tigers have struggled on defense since the arrival of head coach, Barry Odom. This season is no different

“They have to find a pass rush, and replace Terry Beckner Jr, who they lost to the NFL,” Moe said.

Moe points to Jonathan Elliot as a possblility to fill this role.

Most people look at Missouri as a 10-win team this year. Moe takes a look at the schedule and points out the potential struggle spots, and wins for the Tigers.
