OTB Hour 2 | Burrow Clan Joins The Show

Weekdays 7AM - 9AM

Jimmy Burrow kicks off the hour to talk about his son’s senior night and upcoming SEC Championship.

“We knew (senior night) was going to be emotional for Joe and us as a family,” Burrow said, “but it was way more than we even anticipated. It’s really unbelievable.”

Joe’s “Burreaux” jersey was a planned tribute, Burrow said.

“We had actually talked about it a little,” Burrow said. “It was a special tribute to the people of Louisiana. It’s going up everywhere… just another example of another special night.”

Robin Burrow, Joe Burrow’s mom, joins Off the Bench to talk about her son and what it was like being at every game.

“I certainly appreciate the fact that I was able to come to every single game,” Burrow said. “I, for the most part, would work the whole day on Friday… go to the game, and hop on a plane Sunday afternoon.”

Senior night was special in particular, Burrow said.

“It was kind of an out-of-body experience,” Burrow said. “Once Joe came running out… it was really overwhelming. We are just so happy that he’s been able to experience that kind of once-in-a-lifetime moment.”

OTB Mailbag comes next, asking the crew about broadcasting from Atlanta, “retirement,” and more.

Closing out the show, T-Bob looks ahead to Georgia and points out their high points ahead of this Saturday’s game.
