OTB Hour 2 | Cole Cubelic has concerns about LSU’s defense

Weekdays 7AM - 9AM

The latest edition of A Song of Purple and Gold features the trial of Lady Moscona.

Head Coach for Tulane Football Willie Fritz joined Jordy and T-Bob to talk about their incredible win against Houston.

What did he learn about the character of his squad?

“We’ve got great kids and I think we’ve built a great culture here,” Fritz said. “We’ve really upgraded in recruiting and the kids are buying into what we’re selling.”

Furthermore, he talks about transwer wide receiver Jalen McCleskey.

“Jalen has been nothing but positive all the way through and had a huge game for us,” Fritz said. “He had a coming out party for us last night.”

Cole Cubelic of the SEC Network joind Jordy and T-Bob to talk about what he learned about LSU’s squad from last week, including his concerns about the defense.

“I’d give it an incomplete,” Cole said. “There are legitimate playmakers on that side of the ball that haven’t made plays yet.”

Cubelic discussed the Notre Dame vs Georgia match-up. He feels certain that Georgia won’t have to lean on QB Jake Fromm much and they will have plenty of explosives plays. He also previews Auburn vs Texas A&M.

“I think the match-up that might decide this game is the A&M goup of receivers against an Auburn secondary that is vastly underated,” Cubelic said.
