Weekend Winners leads off the second hour, looking at high school playoff action, Auburn’s win against Alabama, the new James Bond movie trailer, and more.
The crew looks at Kirby Smart’s sound bites from his teleconference addressing LSU’s team and their upcoming game this Saturday. T-Bob says that this game feels like it will be another test for the offensive line.
Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger joins OTB to talk Tiger football, starting with Joe Brady’s potential to stay with the team.
“It’s kind of the same thing that happened with Dave Aranda,” Dellenger said. “LSU wasn’t going to allow him to leave… I do expect him to get a fairly massive raise. They know they’ve got to pay… (and) shift around titles a little bit.”
Joe Burrow’s last game in Death Valley was a poetic ending, Dellenger said.
“(It was a) fairytale type of ending,” Dellenger said. “It all kind of came together on that one night and felt like one of the most special nights that I’ve seen in Tiger Stadium.”
Closing out the show, the crew talks greying hair, free Tiger Stadium grass, the ESPN Football Power Index, and more.
