Steve Ensminger said Lloyd Cushenberry sets the tone

Weekdays 7AM - 9AM

LSU Football Offensive Coordinator Steve Ensminger talked about whether this year feels different.

“I feel like we have a lot of young men coming back,” Ensminger said. “It’s the most mature offense I’ve been around in a long time.”

Ensminger talked about Joe Burrow’s leadership on the field and his ownership of the team. He breaks down forLSU fans why this year will be “the year.”  Furthermore, he thinks it’s important to get the right guys on the field.

“I just think it’s the addition of Joe Brady,” Ensminger said about the difference in this year’s team. “The direction we need to go is to get more speed on the field. We want to go faster.”

Newly hired Wide Receivers and Passing Game Coordinator Joe Brady has a lot of experience but what specifically does the young guy bring to the room?

“He brings energy,” Ensminger said about Brady.

Finally, how integral is Lloyd Cushenberry to their new system?

“He is the key,” Ensminger said. “He sets the tone of our offensive line.”
