Former LSU tight end, Colin Jeter joins Matt to start hour two to talk the cancellation of the XFL season due to the coronavirus outbreak. Jeter was with the Seattle Dragons. Washington state is the epicenter of coronavirus in the United States. What has the last few months in Seattle been like?
“It’s been somewhat hectic I would say,” Jeter said. “There’s been a lot of rumors going on about what was going on.”
When did they find out the season was going to end?
“It was probably about two weeks ago. We started to hear whispers about the virus getting worse,” Jeter said. “It’s kind of crazy how something like that can end your season, but it’s the right decision.”
Matt talks the ratification of the NFL’s newest CBA from this weekend. The NFL announced that the draft will go on at the planned dates, and will be televised. There will be no fans, and the league is exploring “innovative ways” to conduct the draft.
Matt talks the financial impact the NBA is bracing for while they are unable to play games.
