Major League Baseball is looking at their draft taking place in July. The MLB is also exploring the options of a shortened draft in order to cut spending. The draft would be cut from 40 rounds to 10 rounds, and a deferred signing bonus.
NFL GMs want to postpone the 2020 draft. The league is moving forward with the draft as scheduled.
Today, the NCAA set revised financial distribution numbers, as a result of the canceled spring and winter sports and championships. Division I members will receive a distribution of $225 million in revenue. The number was originally expected to be $600 million.
