Chad Durbin joined Jordy and T-Bob to talk LSU baseball and professional teams measuring players.
“Once you get with the professional team, the 6’3 on your drivers license turns into more like 6’2ish,” Durbin said.
Appropriately, they asked Durbin how big his hands measure.
“I have no idea, they measured us by how many guys we can get out,” Durbin said. “If you’re an athlete and you can adapt, that’s what they’re looking for.”
Durbin has been open about how he would take some shots at Astros players if he was still in the league.
“The police are out and it’s going to happen, some of it’s going to be on purpose and some of it’s going to be the ball getting away,” Durbin said. “I don’t know if you’ll see any of the reality of this until the season starts.”
Maurice Hampton Jr. looks like a major league baseball player for LSU baseball.
“Watching him catch a ball off his thumbs and pushing it down the left field line for a double…he’s going to be a little more athletic than the other 19 year olds,” Durbin said.
