Josh Macuga on his new show Eating History

Weekdays 7AM - 10AM

Host of Eating History Josh Macuga joined Jordy and T-Bob to talk about his new show and why they made it.

“There are a lot of people who have collected vintage food and we decided it was an amazing way to tell the history of our country,” Macuga said. “The cool angle is showing how it’s aged over time.”

He talked about whether there was ever hestitation over any of the food?

“Every morning you woke and were like today could be the day because every day was a total adventure,” Macuga said. “There were definitely days when I was like this is terrible.”

What was the oldest thing they consumed for the show?

“We had some Civil War hard tack,” Macuga said. “Every episode is a really cool adventure through food and time.”

Finally, he talks about jumping on the LSU football bandwagon.

“I have to tell you, I had a tear in my eye when you guys beat Alabama,” Macuga said.
