Detriot Pistons point guard Langston Galloway joins Matt on AFR to talk the suspension of the NBA season. Galloway talks his reaction to the news last night.
“I was shocked, but at the same time this is something that is a fluid situation,” Galloway said. “I think everybody is just trying to figure out a way to keep it from spreading nationwide.”
Galloway’s Pistons played the Utah Jazz five days ago. Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell have since tested positive for coronavirus. Are the Pistons getting tested as a result?
“So right now it’s voluntary. If you are feeling bad you have to go in and get tested,” Galloway said. “If you aren’t feeling bad it’s voluntary.”
Does Galloway believe the league made the right decision by suspending the season?
“I think so. I know a lot of people will be upset about it,” Galloway said. “This is a fluid situation. We don’t know what’s next.”
