Michael Johnson talks about how coronavirus is affecting the restaurant industry

LSU Athletics Executive Chef Michael Johnson joined Jordy and T-Bob to talk coronavirus quarantine “munchies.” It’s a tough time for the restaurant industry. How is this affecting Chef’s on the front line?

“I’ve had chefs from all over the damn country to ask if there’s any way they can help,” Johnson said. “They want to be active and a part of helping everyone.”

Next, he answered listener questions like modifications for traditional meals like gumbo. Also, what is his favorite junk food?

“I’m a potato chip kind of guy, sour cream and onion is a weakness of mine,” Johnson said. “Bourbon is probably my junk drink.”
