Mo Wells talks training former Tigers for the Combine

Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

Former LSU sprinter and current trainer at IMG Academy Mo Wells joins the Matt to talk traing former LSU players for the NFL Combine. Wells talks his training process.

“It’s a six day process. These guys are here for most of the day,” Wells said. “Plenty of sprints, position work, nutrition which is extremely important. It’s a lot to fit into a week.”

Is it Wells’ job to turn the players into track guys considering the importance of the 40 yard dash at the combine?

“No in a sense it’s not really about making them into track guys,” Wells said. “My job is to take away an physiological disadvantages they may have when they are running, and meet them in the middle.”

Wells goes through each former Tiger he is working with, and what they are working on.
