Jordy recapped some of the things Coach Ed Orgeron said to the media yesterday in his SEC teleconference and his weekly radio show.
Former Saint Roman Harper joined Jordy to recap an incredible win by the Saints over the Texans.
“I actually called that game,” Harper said. “I was a point off but I knew Wil Lutz would kick the game winner.”
Was he concerned for New Orleans or impressed with Houston?
“The thing you didn’t like is defensively for the Saints, third down is going to be an issue,” Harper said. “Offensively, you have to learn how to start faster.”
LSU Head Basketball Coach Will Wade talked to Jordy about his program’s schedule being released for the season.
“This will be the first time we open on the road,” Wade said.
Wade also talked about bringing on a new Video Coordinator from VCU.
“He was actually our manager at VCU,” Wade said. “He does a really good job with the technology, this position has turned into a bit of a multimedia job.”
Tom Hart is going to be on the call for the LSU vs Northwestern St. He talked to Jordy about how the masses are finally buying into this LSU offense.
“I think all the credit goes to Coach Orgeron for having the wherewithall and being versatile enough to evolve,” Hart said.
Hart had some thoughts about, you guessed it, Joe Brady having he opportunity to lead his own offense sooner than later.
Finally, is Joe Burrow is a true contender for the Heisman?
“Can he continue to be a Heisman candidate once the schedule stiffens up,” Hart asked. “If he continues to perform, yes.”
