Weekdays 7AM - 10AM

Skylar Mays joined Jordy and T-Bob to talk about how his life has changed since the spread of the coronavirus cancelled basketball.

“I’m miserable, man…I’m realizing how much time is actually in a day,” Mays said. “I’m getting to spend time with family, walking my dogs every day.”

Mays walked them through what it was like to find out about the cancellation of the SEC Tournmanet in real time.

“We had practice that morning…and then bam the SEC Tournament is canceled,” Mays said. “I’ve had plenty of time to do some reflecting and I definitely feel like I had a really good career.”

If given then chance for another year of eligibility, he doesn’t think he would come back to LSU.

“I don’t see it, I don’t want to lie to you,” Mays said. “I feel like I maxed out here.”
