Stromile Swift talks LSU’s prep for SEC and NCAA Tournaments

Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

Former LSU and NBA forward Stromile Swift joins Matt in his weekly spot to talk LSU Basketball. First, Stro shares his thoughts on the NCAA deciding to play the NCAA Tournament without fans in attendance due to  concerns over the CoronaVirus.

“That’s going to be hard. That’s going to be weird. For myself, I got a lot of energy from the fans,” Swift said. “If you make a big dunk or a big block and the fans go crazy, you feed off of that. It’s going to be tough for the players. Especially the ones who feed off of it.”

LSU played their best game in a while vs. Georgia on Saturday. What did Swift see that was different and key to the performance?

“Pretty much what I’ve been preaching the whole season. They looked energized. They looked happy,” Swift said. “Marlon Taylor looked awesome. He was getting out in transition for big alley-oop dunks. That’s energy.”

Swift talks LSU’s potential lineup for the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.
