Week 11 SEC Observations
Posted By: Matt Moscona
Alabama: Proof that championships and Heismans are won in November.
Arkansas: Imagine if they played as well in September as they have in November.
Auburn: Nick Marshall might be the most underrated SEC QB of the 2000s.
Florida: Rarely pretty, but keeps piling up wins. Jim McElwain is the National Coach of the Year.
Georgia: Would they really fire a coach that goes 9-3?
Kentucky: That’s five straight losses, this one to Vanderbilt. Yes, that Vanderbilt.
LSU: Any chance to SEC might schedule the Alabama game in September?
Mississippi State: Back to reality.
Ole Miss: Perfect time for a week off with wounded LSU coming to Oxford next.
Missouri: Nice win to wrap up an emotional week.
South Carolina: Whoever replaces Steve Spurrier would be wise to keep Shawn Elliot on staff. The team has played hard for him.
Tennessee: November cakewalk continues.
Texas A&M: Things you never thought you’d say: Can A&M move the ball at Vanderbilt?
Vanderbilt: The Derek Mason Farewell Tour has been indefinitely postponed.
